December 5, get ready for Site Night from 7-9:30PM! Make sure to check the weekly email for where each site will be meeting! We’ll continue our inductive-style Bible study method for this year, as we learn how to read Scripture more closely! Expect games, food, and great community. Session 8 of the Practicing the Way Course zeroes in on a final critical truth: You are meant to follow Jesus in community. Learn how to cultivate a community of depth, vulnerability, and commitment to transformation.

We will also be supported A Safe Place, Sherwood Park’s women’s shelter and outreach. They are currently in great need of new pyjamas for women and children, and we would love to collect donations that evening to help meet that need. Let’s bless them this Christmas!

December 12th, join us from 7-9PM at the Sherwood Park site for an evening set apart to seek God together. We’ll dive deep into our year-long theme of discipleship–what it means, why it matters, and how it shapes our lives and our world. Come ready to learn, refocus, and connect with God and others.
You are invited to a morning of connection and prayer. The purpose is to meet for a time to connect with other women from Connors Hill over coffee/tea and to pray for each other and the world around us. It meets one Saturday per month at 10am. Bonnie Schwalfenberg leads this group; please email her for more information and to let her know if you plan to attend an upcoming date. There is no need to commit to every session - come when you can, and feel free to invite a friend!

Join us for a Prayer Ministry Night on Sunday, December 14th at 6:30pm at our Southeast site. This will be a time to lift one another up in prayer before the Father. Come experience hope, healing and God’s presence as we pray together for the needs on our hearts.
Get ready for the coziest night of the year—our Young Adults Christmas Party is happening December 16th, and you’re officially invited! We’re throwing a full-on pyjama party, so pull out your comfiest sweats, flannel pants, or that absurdly festive onesie you definitely bought on sale. We’ll be settling in with hot drinks, Christmas treats, and a showing of The Polar Express to kick off the season the right way.
We’re also doing a Secret Santa gift exchange, and we need everyone to register in advance so we can pair names and make sure no one gets left out. The deadline to register is December 9th! Gifts should be in the $15–$20 range, so keep it fun and thoughtful! Use the Google Form HERE to sign up, then grab a small gift and bring your holiday cheer. It’s going to be fun, nostalgic, and the perfect break from exams and work—don’t miss it! 🎄✨

It’s time to party—to Christmas party! Join us December 19th at the Southeast site from 7-10PM for yummy snacks and a festive night with friends as we remember Jesus’ birth! Bring a friend and let’s celebrate Christmas together!
Join us either in person or online on Christmas Eve for our celebration of Jesus’ birth. These one-hour services for the whole family will include Christmas carols, videos, and Scripture readings. While the services will be enjoyable for all ages, we plan to provide childcare for the youngest of our guests (ages 0-3). Towards the end of the service, we will join together in song and light candles, so for those joining us online please have some candles ready for lighting at the end of the service.
We will gather at 2:00pm and 4:00pm at Connors Hill, Southeast, and Sherwood Park. Our online service will be at 4:00pm, and will be available on demand the rest of Christmas Eve.

... a tile in the Canadian National Mural Mosaic!
You are invited to join Central Art Group for a special Paint Night on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 6:30 - 9:00 pm, in the foyer at Connors Hill. We will be using painting kits from the National Mural Mosaic Project to each design and paint our own tile, which will be incorporated into a mosaic design that will be installed in a Canadian community in 2026.
You do not need to be a regular attender of Art Club or a skilled artist—everyone is welcome to be part of this special project! We hope that this evening is a fun event for all, whether as a date night, night out, or small group activity. Kits for our group will need to be ordered in advance; please RSVP by emailing Joy or Steph so they can order you a kit. November 30 is the RSVP deadline so that the kits arrive in time for the paint night.

The Marriage Course is for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. The course offers a lifetime of practical ideas and tools to help keep your relationship strong.
The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background.
Each session of The Marriage Course consists of a practical talk on topics related to marriage and a time for private discussion between you and your partner. Each couple’s privacy is respected as there is no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else.
The course starts on Thursday, January 22, and runs for 7 weeks until Thursday, March 5. We will meet together in the gym at Connors Hill from 6:30-9:30pm. Registration is limited to 12 couples and costs $220 per couple. This cost includes a three-course meal on each of the gatherings and the teaching workbooks. If you would like to attend but finances are an issue, please let us know on your registration.

The Pre-Marriage course is a series of 5 sessions designed to help couples build strong foundations for their future by equipping them with the attitudes and practical skills they will need to help keep their relationship strong.
Each session consists of a video on a specific topic and time for private conversations as a couple. Each couple’s privacy is respected as there is no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else.
The Pre-Marriage course is for couples who are exploring marriage or those who are already engaged.
We will meet for 5 sessions beginning on Monday, January 26:
January 26 (6:30-9pm)
February 2 (7-9:30pm)
February 9 (7-9:30pm)
February 16 (7-9:30pm)
and February 23 (6:30-9pm)
A meal will be provided on the first and last evenings (January 26 and February 23.) Please note on those evenings we will start half an hour earlier.
