Join other men from Connors Hill for a Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, April 25th from 9am-12pm in the gym.

Come eat some breakfast, battle it out with other guys in some friendly competition, and then be challenged and encouraged to live out your God-given call. All men 16+ are invited.

We'll spend some time discussing the teaching from our March 21 event on living as a godly man and will hear more testimony from men in our church about what God is currently doing in their lives.

Central Youth will join with youth groups across Edmonton at Hope City Church (Millwoods) for 780 Rally, a city-wide youth night focused on building the Church and why it matters! These nights are a great way to connect with students and leaders from across Edmonton, worship the Lord, and see what He is doing throughout our city.

Doors open at 6:30, and the event runs from 7-9:30PM. When your student(s) arrives, they can keep an eye out for Mike, Jess, and Reg. We will gather all together and do our check-in before finding a place to sit. Students need to make sure they check out with a leader before leaving!

Join us on Saturday, May 2nd from 10am to 1pm in the foyer at Connors Hill for the Central Art Group. Bring any art or craft project you are working on and share in fellowship as you do art together! Children are also welcome! This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, and is run by Steph Dalmer and Joy Pedersen. Please email Joy or Steph for more information.

Katie grew up in Papua New Guinea as a missionary kid, where she witnessed firsthand God’s transforming work among the Mengen people.

As Katie grew, God continued to lead her on a journey of faith, shaping her heart and preparing her for what He was calling her to do. Through Scripture, she became increasingly aware of God’s deep and relentless love for the nations, and it became clear that the story God was writing in her life was leading her back to Papua New Guinea, this time to serve as a missionary herself.

She applied to Ethnos Canada’s cross-cultural church planting program (ethnostraining.ca), where she gained essential skills for ministry among unreached people groups. She later completed an advanced linguistics course, further preparing her for the work ahead. Katie is now visiting churches and meeting with individuals to share her vision for ministry as she prepares for her upcoming move to Papua New Guinea this fall.

Interested in participating in worship at a deeper level? You’re invited to audition for the Connors Hill Worship Team! On Monday, May 11th, we will be hosting auditions in the afternoon or evening (sign up HERE for an available time slot that works for you.) We know that “auditioning” can be nerve wracking, but we really hope that the process is a life giving one for you!

Come with your instrument (unless it is drums or keys - we will have that provided). Be prepared to play "Build My Life (Pat Barrett)" in the key of G. AS WELL, bring a song/piece to solo audition your instrument. If you are a vocalist, be prepared to sing along with the "team" and then also have a song/piece to solo. Kingdom Quest is Central Baptist Church's Summer Day Camp for kids who are going into grade 1 to grade 6 as of fall 2026. It runs from July 13 - 17 at our Connors Hill Site (9419 - 95 St). Registration is now open and limited to 100 campers.
