On October 4th, Young adults at the SP site are invited for a brunch after the 11am service downstairs! We will take some time to hang out, make food together, and eat!
Fall Echelon is running every Wednesday from Sep 30-Nov 18! Echelon is for students who want to dig deep. It’s open to all youth students, but it’s geared towards those in High School. Students are expected to do homework, read scripture, have discussions and commit to weekly attendance.
This fall, we will be studying Colossians and Philemon and meeting site-specific. Southeast Site will meet in the SE sanctuary 6:30-8:30PM. Connors Hill will meet in the CH youth room 6:30-8PM. Sherwood Park will meet in SP youth room 6:30-8PM. There is a $10 cost for the fall Echelon semester.
Get ready for an intense night of strategy, chaos, and cardboard! On October 9 from 7-10PM at the CH site, we’re building our own cardboard castles and then putting them to the test! Build your defenses, protect your castle, and work with your team to take down the competition! Invite some friends and prepare yourself to storm the castle!
Soup season is upon us again and we want to welcome you to an evening of cozy connection!
Join us October 10th from 6-8pm for food and fellowship. Please bring a muffin pan (for sampling multiple soups!) and, if you are able and desire, a crockpot of soup (with the recipe.) Hope to see you there!

Addictions affect many people; the person who struggles, their family, friends, workplace and community. Sometimes, the church has not been the safest place for people impacted by addictions to share their story or get support. But at Central, we value putting relationships first. Every person and every story matters. We make room, walk together and put people before programs.
We also believe there is hope in the midst of and beyond addictions through Christ and community. We invite you to learn about this hope from Doug Sedore in our church community. He is the CEO of Hope in Strathcona, and will share his own journey with addictions. He will also share some facts about addiction and the work he’s doing in bringing hope to those who struggle.
This seminar is for anyone struggling with addiction, their family and friends, and for anyone who wants to learn more and help. There will be a Q and A session, some group time to process Doug’s thoughts and prayer for one another. We hope you can join us.

On Sunday, October 18 at 3:30 p.m., we’ll gather for a special McDougall Dedication Service. This will be a significant day for us as we come together to see the space, worship, pray, and dedicate McDougall to God’s purposes for the season ahead.
We would love for people from across all of Central’s sites to join us, along with friends and believers from across the Edmonton region who want to be part of this moment.
We’d love to invite you to our fall Join the Church Class on Tuesday, October 20 at 7pm at Connors Hill.

Beginning Sunday, October 25, McDougall will launch weekly Sunday services at 2:00 p.m.
Parking is free. You can park in either the McDougall parking lot or at Chateau Lacombe. Please do not pay for parking in either location. If you park at Chateau Lacombe, simply scan the QR code when you arrive inside McDougall and register your licence plate.
