Come and try your hand at painting. No experience is necessary and all of the supplies will be provided (but you are welcome to bring your own if you would like).

Lettuce Eat! We’re hosting a salad potluck April 10th @ 7:00pm! Bring your favorite salad (with ingredients list included please) and your muffin tins for sampling. Alongside our salad feast we will enjoy some encouraging sharing from some women from our church!

We will hear from Edee Miazga, who will share a heartfelt testimony of how God has been her daily strength through life’s storms. Through seasons of challenge and uncertainty, she has experienced the steady faithfulness of the Lord. Her story will be a beautiful reminder that God walks with us and sustains us in every season of life.

You are invited to the study “Nothing Wasted” by Kasey van Norman. Kasey takes the pressure off of outing our past, instead revealing God as the perfecter of everything that brings us shame or pain. God does not care if we are the reason for or the recipient of our messes—he wants us to understand the magnitude of receiving his grace and trust him to transform our pain into something glorious! With God, nothing is wasted.

We will dig into this study through both videos and book discussion over the course of 6 weeks. Then, on the 7th week, we will gather for a fellowship brunch! We’ll meet at Connors Hill on Tuesdays from 10am to noon, starting January 27.

Registration is open. Register using the link HERE, and please indicate whether you’d like us to order you a copy of the study book. In order to receive your book in time for the start of the study, please register by January 13.

The Pre-Marriage course is a series of 5 sessions designed to help couples build strong foundations for their future by equipping them with the attitudes and practical skills they will need to help keep their relationship strong.

Each session consists of a video on a specific topic and time for private conversations as a couple. Each couple’s privacy is respected as there is no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else.

The Pre-Marriage course is for couples who are exploring marriage or those who are already engaged.

We will meet for 5 sessions beginning on Monday, January 26:

• January 26 (6:30-9pm)

• February 2 (7-9:30pm)

• February 9 (7-9:30pm)

• February 16 (7-9:30pm)

• and February 23 (6:30-9pm)

A meal will be provided on the first and last evenings (January 26 and February 23.) Please note on those evenings we will start half an hour earlier.

The Marriage Course is for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. The course offers a lifetime of practical ideas and tools to help keep your relationship strong.

The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background.

Each session of The Marriage Course consists of a practical talk on topics related to marriage and a time for private discussion between you and your partner. Each couple’s privacy is respected as there is no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else.

The course starts on Thursday, January 22, and runs for 7 weeks until Thursday, March 5. We will meet together in the gym at Connors Hill from 6:30-9:30pm. Registration is limited to 12 couples and costs $220 per couple. This cost includes a three-course meal on each of the gatherings and the teaching workbooks. We will also be supported A Safe Place, Sherwood Park’s women’s shelter and outreach. They are currently in great need of new pyjamas for women and children, and we would love to collect donations that evening to help meet that need. Let’s bless them this Christmas!
