An Evening with Katie Wright
May

7:00 PM19:00

An Evening with Katie Wright

Katie grew up in Papua New Guinea as a missionary kid, where she witnessed firsthand God’s transforming work among the Mengen people.

As Katie grew, God continued to lead her on a journey of faith, shaping her heart and preparing her for what He was calling her to do. Through Scripture, she became increasingly aware of God’s deep and relentless love for the nations, and it became clear that the story God was writing in her life was leading her back to Papua New Guinea, this time to serve as a missionary herself.

She applied to Ethnos Canada’s cross-cultural church planting program (ethnostraining.ca), where she gained essential skills for ministry among unreached people groups. She later completed an advanced linguistics course, further preparing her for the work ahead. Katie is now visiting churches and meeting with individuals to share her vision for ministry as she prepares for her upcoming move to Papua New Guinea this fall.

Please join us on Monday, May 4th at 7pm in the Fireside Room at Connors Hill to learn more about Katie’s ministry.

Dessert and coffee will be served, so to help us plan well, please RSVP HERE.

CYA | Asking for a Friend

Hey Central Young Adults!

Last week (Feb 24) we decided to postpone the 2nd week of Asking for a Friend, so this coming Tuesday (March 3), we will tackle the very casual topic “Is God hiding my spouse from me…or do I just suck at dating?”

If you’re single, dating, situationshipping, recovering from a breakup, or just tired of pretending you have it all figured out — this night is for you.

No shame. No weird church answers. Just honest conversation about what it looks like to follow Jesus in the middle of modern dating. See you at 7pm at Connors Hil.

CYA | Asking for a Friend

Hey Central Young Adults!

Asking for a Friend is a two-week Young Adults series happening Tuesday, February 17th and 24th, built around the real questions young adults are actually asking about dating, sex, relationships, marriage, and everything in between. No dodging, no churchy non-answers—just honest, thoughtful conversation.

On February 24th, we’ll wrap the series with a Relationships Panel, responding to questions submitted by YOU. You can submit your questions anytime through our anonymous Google Form HERE.

If you’ve ever Googled something at midnight or thought, “Can I ask that at church?”—this is your moment.
