CYA | Asking for a Friend

Hey Central Young Adults!

Last week (Feb 24) we decided to postpone the 2nd week of Asking for a Friend, so this coming Tuesday (March 3), we will tackle the very casual topic “Is God hiding my spouse from me…or do I just suck at dating?”

If you’re single, dating, situationshipping, recovering from a breakup, or just tired of pretending you have it all figured out — this night is for you.

No shame. No weird church answers. Just honest conversation about what it looks like to follow Jesus in the middle of modern dating. See you at 7pm at Connors Hil.

CYA | Asking for a Friend

Hey Central Young Adults!

On Tuesday, Feb 17th, we’re kicking off a brand new Young Adults series called Asking for a Friend — a series all about asking (and answering) the awkward, honest, and sometimes uncomfortable questions we all have about dating, sex, marriage, and relationships… but are usually too afraid to say out loud.

Our first topic is a big one:

“Is God hiding my spouse from me… or am I just bad at dating?”

If you’ve ever wondered that (or know someone who has 👀), this night is for you.

On February 24th, we’ll wrap the series with a Relationships Panel, responding to questions submitted by YOU. You can submit your questions anytime through our anonymous Google Form HERE.

CYA - How to Wreck Everything You Love (Week 1)

Hey Central Young Adults! Join us on January 20th at Connors Hill as we explore a new series…

“How to Wreck Everything You Love” is a raw, no-filter journey into what happens when you take Jesus’ Beatitudes and intentionally live the opposite of them. This series exposes the slow, subtle habits that sabotage your relationships, corrode your heart, and quietly dismantle your community—pride instead of humility, bitterness instead of mercy, chaos instead of peace. It’s uncomfortable on purpose. We’re naming the attitudes that destroy us so we can finally see why Jesus’ way isn’t just good advice—it’s the only path that doesn’t end in ruins.

Prayer Week 2026

  • Google Calendar ICS

Each January, we dedicate a week to intentionally clearing our schedules—both as a church and in our households—to focus on prayer. Through nightly gatherings, we come together to share our hearts with Jesus and listen for what He wants to say to us.

We invite you to join in three meaningful ways:

  • Experiment with new rhythms: Explore spiritual practices to make new room for God’s presence and power as you step into the new year.

  • Clear your calendar for Prayer Week: Plan to fully engage in nightly gatherings and prayer events (January 12-16) with our church community.

  • Share what you’re hearing: Listen for what Jesus is speaking to you and to our church, and share these insights with our leadership throughout the month.
