The purpose is to meet for a time to connect with other women from Connors Hill over coffee/tea and to pray for each other and the world around us. There is no need to commit to every session—come when you can, and feel free to invite a friend!

Addictions affect many people; the person who struggles, their family, friends, workplace and community.  Sometimes, the church has not been the safest place for people impacted by addictions to share their story or get support.  But at Central, we value putting relationships first.  Every person and every story matters.  We make room, walk together and put people before programs.

We also believe there is hope in the midst of and beyond addictions through Christ and community.  We invite you to learn about this hope from Doug Sedore in our church community. He is the CEO of Hope in Strathcona, and will share his own journey with addictions. He will also share some facts about addiction and the work he’s doing in bringing hope to those who struggle.

This seminar is for anyone struggling with addiction, their family and friends, and for anyone who wants to learn more and help. There will be a Q and A session, some group time to process Doug’s thoughts and prayer for one another.   We hope you can join us.

The Connors Hill Senior’s Ministry Team will be hosting a drop in light lunch on Wednesday, October 14 from 12-1pm.  All 55+ are welcome.  Lunch will be served in the Fireside Room immediately after the 1029 Bible Study.

On Sunday, October 18 at 3:30 p.m., we’ll gather for a special McDougall Dedication Service. This will be a significant day for us as we come together to see the space, worship, pray, and dedicate McDougall to God’s purposes for the season ahead.

We would love for people from across all of Central’s sites to join us, along with friends and believers from across the Edmonton region who want to be part of this moment.

Beginning Sunday, October 25, McDougall will launch weekly Sunday services at 2:00 p.m.

Parking is free. You can park in either the McDougall parking lot or at Chateau Lacombe. Please do not pay for parking in either location. If you park at Chateau Lacombe, simply scan the QR code when you arrive inside McDougall and register your licence plate.

We hope you’ll join us as we pray over this place and set it apart for all that God will do in and through it in the years ahead!

Ladies of Connors Hill! Join us this fall as we work through Every Thought Captive by Kyle Idleman and discover how God’s Word can renew our minds, reshape our thinking, and lead us toward lasting change and true transformation.

Whether you love to bowl or would rather just sit, visit, and enjoy good conversation, this morning is about connection, laughter, and being together. If you're 55+, we'd love to have you join us for this fun morning!

10 AM – 12 PM at Sherwood Bowl (975 Fir St, Sherwood Park)

For anyone who would like to carpool, we’ll meet in the church parking lot at 9:30am.
You don’t need to be an expert bowler — and you don’t even need to bowl at all. Just come and enjoy a fun, relaxed morning with friends.

The Jr. High Retreat weekend is November 13-15 at Camp Caroline (354040 Range Road 61, Caroline, AB T0M 0M0). The cost is $135 per student. Registration closes October 22nd at 11:59PM and we won't be able to extend sign ups past that. Space is limited! We will meet at our Central Baptist Southeast Site and bus to and from Camp Caroline together.
