Get ready for Fear Factor Night at our Southeast Site from 7-9 PM. It’ll be a night packed with creepy challenges, strange experiences, and just the right amount of fear. Step outside your comfort zone as you face your fears! Invite your friends, and see if you have what it takes to make it through the night.
Central Youth will join with youth groups across Edmonton at Hope City Church (Millwoods) for 780 Rally, a city-wide youth night focused on building the Church and why it matters! These nights are a great way to connect with students and leaders from across Edmonton, worship the Lord, and see what He is doing throughout our city.
Doors open at 6:30, and the event runs from 7-9:30PM. When your student(s) arrives, they can keep an eye out for Mike, Jess, and Reg. We will gather all together and do our check-in before finding a place to sit. Students need to make sure they check out with a leader before leaving!
Join us at our McDougall Site for Ignite Prayer Canada’s city-wide prayer & worship summit from 6:30-9:00PM where we will pray for a move of God across our city for unity and collaboration between churches, for evangelistic passion and urgency, and fruit for a deeper heart of prayer and personal holiness as the Kingdom moves forward. No registration or payment required, just come and pray with us!
Join us at the Connor’s Hill site from 7-9PM for a Mount Carmel Bible College takeover! Current Mount Carmel students will lead us in some games, a devo, and a live panel where students can ask them about the Bible College experience and trusting God post-graduation.
Spring Echelon is starting! Echelon is for students who want to dig deep. It’s open to all youth students, but it’s geared towards those in High School. Students are expected to do homework, read scripture, have discussions and commit to weekly attendance. This semester we will all be meeting in the sanctuary at the Southeast Site from 7-9PM starting on April 8th and ending May 6th.
We’ll be doing a book study of James using a journalling workbook. The book is $10 (but don’t let cost keep you from coming). Please RSVP HERE so that we can plan how many books we need to purchase and to let us know if you plan to attend.
What will life throw your way? Join us for a Life-Sized Game of Life from 7-9:30PM at the CH site where you’ll step into the game and navigate the twists and turns of real-life choices. Experience the joys, surprises, and setbacks as you move through challenges, opportunities, and unexpected moments along the way.

Registration is NOW CLOSED for the annual ABA Sr High Retreat at Camp Caroline March 13-15, 2026! As a reminder for those who have registered, the cost is $130 per student, but let us know if cost would impact your attendance.

Mar 13 - drop-off 5/5:10PM @ Central Baptist Southeast. All three sites will bus together from the SE site and will depart for Camp Caroline at 5:30PM.
Mar 15 - pick-up 4PM approx. @ Central Baptist Southeast. We will text updates to parents during our drive home.
Complete an ILOC form for each student attending and send a copy to Mike.
Send e-transfer payments to events@followingtogether.com with “Sr High Retreat” and the student’s name in the memo line. Talk to Mike, Reg, or Jess to pay by cheque or cash.
For students not going on the retreat, there will be NO youth gatherings on March 13th.
On Friday, February 27th we will meet at Laser City (5104 67 Ave NW) from 7:00-9:30PM. All students will play 3 games as we rotate groups through, and each student needs to bring $20 in cash to pay for their pass.

Join Central Youth for Birthday Party Night at the Central Baptist Sherwood Park Site! We’re throwing one big celebration for everyone’s birthday—because no one should miss out on cake and fun. Expect cake, festivity, and lots of celebration as we celebrate together from 7-9 PM. Whether your birthday is this week or six months away, this night is for you.

Due to some weather changes and rink capacity, we will have youth at the Connors Hill site tonight. We are planning something fun, so please still join us! After Youth will still happen; we will walk over to Line and Nelson's at 9PM for more snacks and hanging out! Pickup will be 10:30PM at their place.
January 23rd, join us at 7PM at the Southeast site for a special Coffeehouse night as Grandparents @ Prayer come to share their wisdom, stories, and encouragement with us. It’s a chance to slow down and be inspired by those who have walked faithfully with Jesus.
Semester 2 of Youth Echelon, our Student Bible Study, is starting!

We will meet at each site Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm starting on January 21st. At Connors Hill, we’ll meet in the Youth Room; at SE, we’ll meet in the Sanctuary; and at Sherwood Park, we’ll meet in the Youth Room.

World Record Night is coming! Think you’ve got what it takes to break a world record? On November 28th, join us from 7-9PM at the Southeast site for a fun evening where we attempt to crush some ridiculous world records! Bring friends, bring energy, and get ready to make history—one wild record at a time!
November 14-16th we will head to Camp Caroline for the annual ABA Jr High Retreat. We are really looking forward to it, since it is always such an awesome weekend of worship, learning from the word, and fellowship together!
We will leave from the Southeast site at 5:30pm on Friday and return by 4:30pm on Sunday. Registration is now closed. You will need to complete an Informed Letter of Consent (ILOC) for each student registered. If you have any questions talk to Reg, Mike, or Jess.

Join us October 31st from 8-10:30PM for a night of dodgeball and friendly competition! We're teaming up with a few local churches for a tournament you won't want to miss. Bring water and invite your friends! No snacks will be provided, so make sure to eat dinner before you come! It will be at St Francis Xavier Sports Centre: SFXSC- Gym 3.
Join us for a night of fun at the Sherwood Park site on October 17th from 7-9pm! Whether you prefer video games or board games, there’s something for everyone. Bring your friends, challenge each other, and enjoy a laid-back evening of games and friendly competition.
On Friday, October 10, from 7-9pm, we will have our FIRST Site Night of the school year! Go to your site and join for a night of connection, diving into God's word, and fellowship.
On Friday, October 3, Central Youth will join with youth groups across Edmonton at Saints Church (Glastonbury Site) for a worship night. The 780 Rally nights are a neat way to connect with students and leaders from across Edmonton, worship the Lord, and see what He is doing throughout our city. Drop off and pick up will be at Saints Church Glastonbury.

Join us for Echelon this fall for an 8-week journey through John Mark Comer’s Practicing the Way video series. Starting Wednesday, October 1st, from 6:30–8:00 PM, students will gather at one of our three sites for site-specific group discussions and accountability. Together, we’ll explore practical ways to follow Jesus and live out our faith in today’s world. Don’t miss this chance to grow with others and deepen your relationship with God!

Friday, September 26, all youth will meet at our Connors Hill Site for a Lumberjack Party! Dress as a lumberjack, and join us for games, fellowship, and fun. Afterward, we will head to Line and Nelson's for After Youth and snacks. Pickup will be at their place, keep an eye out for our email with the address and pickup time. Hope to see you there!

Did I hear Kickoff Retreat? Oh yeah, we have officially launched our form for the KO Retreat and we would love to have your youth join us at Covenant Bay Sept 19-21! This retreat is always a great way to launch us back into the school year and regular youth ministry while connecting about what we have learned and what God has before us!
Sept 19-21 we will head out to Covenant Bay Bible Camp. We will LEAVE from Central (6pm from the Connors Hill site, 6:45pm from Southeast), and then return in time for all to hang out at the 11am service at Connors Hill. PICK-UP will be 12:30-1:00pm for Southeast and Sherwood Park parents so they have time to drive to Connors Hill after their services are complete. PICK-UP for Connors Hill parents will be at the end of the service.
Note, you will need to fill out an ILOC (Informed Letter Of Consent) in order for your student to attend. From now until September 3, the cost is $130 per student.
On Sunday, September 14, at Southeast AND Sherwood Park between the 9am and 11am services, join us to hear about the youth year we have ahead, our team, and the intended schedule for the upcoming three months! We would love to see you there, whether your students are new to youth or seasoned veterans.
If you are at Connors Hill, during either the 9am or 11am service, make sure your youth go to the youth room! They'll have some time to get to know Reg and get connected with each other! There will be a parent meeting following BOTH services, so go to the youth room after the service to see your youth and hear Reg share about the youth year ahead.

We will have lawn games like axe throwing (not real axes!), yard yatzhee, and more! Isaac, one of our SE youth leaders, will be sharing a short testimony about what God is doing in his life right now.
