Retreat Weekend

  • Central Baptist Church 9419 - 95 St NW Edmonton, AB T6C 4K2 (map)

Our next Retreat Weekend is April 12-13, 2019, and we hope you'll join us! Registration is now open and the registration deadline is April 7th.

We invite you to invest 11 hours (7pm-10pm on Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday) into a greater life with God. We are offering two tracks for you to choose from. Please register on the church website by Sunday, April 7th.

Spirit Led Prayer (A new track led by Jeremy Putz and Gord Pollock). Do you want to grow in hearing God’s voice and praying more effectively for others? This track balances teaching with practical experiences in a low-pressure group environment. It focuses on the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, prophecy, healing, and prayer ministry and aims to give each participant the tools to hear God more clearly and pray more fruitfully.

Devotional Essentials (A new track led by Cory Seibel). Are you interested in exploring devotional practices that can help you grow in your relationship with Jesus? This retreat track provides an opportunity to learn about spiritual disciplines that have played an important role in the lives of Christians over the course of many generations and to consider the significance of these practices for the journey of growth in Christ. Participants also will be invited to envision how these spiritual disciplines can be integrated into the rhythms of their daily lives.

The registration fee is $30 for each track. This includes all materials, coffee and snacks throughout both days and lunch on Saturday. If the cost would keep you from coming, please choose the “Name Your Price” option on the registration form and pay the amount you feel you can pay. Open to adults and students grade ten and up. Registration includes lunch on Saturday, all materials and program costs. Please note we are not able to accommodate for dietary restrictions. The retreat builds through the weekend, so if you are unable to attend the full retreat we encourage you to consider attending next time around.
