TEACHING RECAP
Summary: Changing the world starts with changing our hearts—and that’s where following Jesus comes in. The real work of transformation begins when we turn away from our old ways, choose to live with Him at the center, and surrender our personal ambitions to His mission. Jesus invites us to follow Him into new life, a life that’s focused on loving God and loving others. When we choose to follow Him, we become part of His mission to bring healing and hope to the world.
Main Points:
A New Heart: Following Jesus means turning away from our old life and choosing a new direction.
A New Life: Following Jesus means living with Him at the centre of our lives and allowing Him to transform us.
A New Purpose: Following Jesus means surrendering our personal ambitions and joining His mission to reach others.
On-Ramps:
Say yes to Jesus. Turn from your old life and choose to follow Him.
Follow Jesus daily. Commit to daily practices that centre your life around Him and allow Him to shape you.
Live on mission. Surrender your personal ambitions to Jesus and actively engage in His mission to reach others.
