Guide the group through the questions. (30-60 minutes)
Take time to share prayer requests and pray for each other. (15-30 minutes)
Discussion
What stands out to you from this passage? How does this passage most challenge or encourage you?
Drawing comparisons between the three different verses, what does it say about who God is, who He is calling us to be, and how the enemy would seek to undermine God’s purposes?
Why do we tend to gossip, exaggerate, deceive, or lie? What does it look like for us to take time and allow the God light to shine on hidden or unclear motives of our heart?
What kind of difference would it make to our culture, workplaces, schools, etc if we practiced speaking to one another with honour, truth, and in love?
