Come join us for our Jingle Jam Family Christmas Breakfast on Saturday, November 29th from 9 -11:30am at Connors Hill. We will be serving a pancake breakfast with gluten friendly options available. Come for breakfast, a Christmas program, games, crafts and cookie decorating. It’s truly a Christmas celebration big enough for the whole family!

The cost is $30 per family payable in cash at the door or by e-transfer to events@followingtogether.com (specify Jingle Jam in the memo line.) If cost is an issue, let your site Kids Ministry staff member know.

Jingle Jam is for families and kids of all ages, but the program is geared to elementary kids. Doors open at 8:45am, breakfast served at 9:00am. Save time in the morning and bring your kids in their Christmas pyjamas if you like. And this is a great event to invite friends who don’t have a church family of their own.

Grade 5,6 students and their grade 5,6 friends from all three sites are invited to play Laser Tag on Monday, November 10!

We have a maximum capacity of 70 students, so pre-registration is required. If you do not pre-register, we cannot guarantee a spot. Students will have the opportunity to play up to 3 games of laser tag at the Laser City Facility (5104 67 Ave NW). Parents are responsible for bringing their child to the facility at 6:45pm and picking them up promptly at 9:00pm. Please arrive on time or you might miss your first game.

Parents, on Wednesday evenings after dropping off your kids to Merge or Echelon, you’re invited to join Pastor Tomas in the foyer at Connors Hill for a parent hang out with some learning and discussion arounds topics that, as parents, we are or will be wrestling with when it comes to our kids and teens. If this is something you would like to be a part of, please REGISTER HERE so we can plan accordingly. If you have to miss one of the evenings or if you can only make it out once, that’s totally ok! We recommend you try to come every week but understand that may be difficult for some. We hope to see you there!

Merge is our mid-week discipleship program for students in grades 4, 5 and 6. Join us as we learn about the Armor of God and how we can apply it in our lives. We will be meeting on Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-8:00pm from October 1 to November 19 in the large group elementary room.

We will be doing a Bible study with games, activities and discussions as well as a snack each week.

This study is intended for students who want to dig in, grow in their faith and commit to attending all of the program. PLEASE consider this session for your child if they are ready to mature in their faith. We will have fun with friends, but the emphasis on these evenings will be primarily to dig into what the Bible has to say about the Amour of God. Questions? Please talk with Kim.

This fall we will be looking at the Ten Commandments, not as a set of rules, but rather as a roadmap from a loving God that helps us stay on the right path. Then we will do a deep dive on prayer, helping students develop a deeper, more personal prayer life.

Merge is our program for kids in grades 4,5 and 6 who want to grow deeper in their faith and commit to attending all of the program. Merge this fall at Southeast will be happening on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8pm from October 1st-November 19th, at the same time and site as SE Youth Echelon and a new adult discipleship gathering.

For this session, our preteen discipleship group will be aligned with the youth and the adults in learning from the Practicing the Way course which is all about apprenticing with Jesus.

Over 8 weeks all these groups will be exploring what it means to be with Jesus, become like Him and do as He did through the Practicing the Way course materials.

Registration is required for Merge (Grade 4-6) but not for the youth or adult groups. We will also have a Merge wrap-up party on December 3rd for the SE Merge students who are available to gather for one more Wednesday.

Come join us for a Wacky Wednesday of fun on August 20! We are going to have a family night to eat together and then play some water games on the grass outside the church. It will start at 5:30 and go to 7:30pm. It's a potluck, so please bring a dish to share. Make enough food for your family plus a little more. The church will provide freezies and water to drink. Then we will have some water fun! Bring or wear your swimsuits, maybe your super soakers and a change of clothes and a towel.

Do you love Jesus? Do you like kids? Sign up for our Summer Serve and check out what happens in Central Kids Ministry. Each summer we ask members of the congregation to step up and help out. This summer, we will have one service at 10am and each week requires 9 volunteers in order to keep our spaces safe for the kids.

This February 15th, Central Baptist Church and Global Aware Children’s Care are excited to welcome you all to our Royal Valentine’s Extravaganza Event! Similar to the previous Winter Wonderland Event hosted in November, this event is one designed specifically with young families and children aged 1 to 10 years old in mind!

We’re planning a short-term mission trip to Mexico for spring 2026 and want to invite you to an interest night on Wednesday, January 22, from 6:30-7:30 PM (we will meet in the Fireside Room at Connors Hill.) This trip is open to families and those of all ages and is a fantastic opportunity to stretch your faith and connect with others while experiencing a new part of the world. The mission will be connected with our long-standing partnership with a church and other partners in Mexico.
