On Friday, April 25, join us in the Connor's Hill gym for a night of constructing (and destructing) cardboard castles with catapults. Your team must kill the opposing team's king and then pick off the rest of the peasants! Protect your king, or else!

Join us on Easter Sunday, April 20th, as we celebrate that Jesus’ death was not the end of the story. He is alive! These services are a great opportunity to invite a friend to consider the good news of Jesus and life found in Him. Easter Sunday services will be held at Connors Hill, Southeast and Sherwood Park at 9am & 11am. The service will be live streamed Online at 9am followed by on demand.

On Easter Sunday, we have an exciting opportunity to partner with Camp Falcon Rock (CFR) in Romania through a special offering. CFR is doing incredible work, providing a place where young people and families can experience the love of Christ through dynamic camps, leadership development, and discipleship. The camp’s impact continues to grow, serving as a beacon of hope and transformation in the region. Worship with us on Good Friday, April 18th either in person or online as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Good Friday Services will be held at Connors Hill, Southeast, Sherwood Park, and online at 10am. The service will be available online on demand starting at 12pm.

You are invited to an Easter Potluck Lunch for our 55+ and Seniors Crowd on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 12-1:30pm. We will gather in the Connors Hill gym. We will enjoy lunch together, sing some Easter hymns led by Greg Miazga and hear a short devotional about Easter from Pastor Tom.

Parents, guardians and caregivers are invited to an evening of conversation, learning and desserts at our Critical Conversations event on Saturday, April 12th from 7-9pm at Connors Hill (9419 95 ST NW).

Come join the conversation! The topic for April 12th is “Family Discipleship - the 5 Most Impactful Habits,” presented by Christie Thomas who has written a number of books for kids and families. She will share some ideas to help you go to the next level (no matter where you are starting from) in discipling your kids. If you are already doing family discipleship in a way that works, please join us to share your experiences with others. This event is for adults only, so unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate kids or youth.

Admission is a $5 suggested donation. This event is open to the public. Please invite your friends who may benefit from this opportunity especially if they are without a church family of their own.

Our largest Central Women gathering of the year, for all women at all sites, is happening Saturday, April 5th from 11am-1pm. The focus of the event is "Refresh & Renew" and we're planning for a time of worship, devotion, fellowship, and a spring-picnic-inspired meal. Registration is now open! Sign up HERE. Childcare will be available; if you plan to bring your children, please enter them on the form. Also feel free to invite other women you think would enjoy this event!

We'd love to have a large, beautiful, and uplifting event where as many women as possible can gather and participate. To this end, we will need many volunteers in several areas (such as food, decorations, worship, childcare, etc.). Friday, April 4th is a Central Youth Site Night! Come on out to your site (the site you usually attend on Sundays) for some games, worship, teaching and small groups!

Our next G@P gathering will be on Tuesday, April 1st at 7pm at our Southeast site.

Dr. John Trent and his oldest daughter, Kari Stageberg, will introduce on video, the concept of The Blessing. You’ll hear how in graduate school, Kari walked away from family and faith. For 5 years she was lost in a horrible, abusive relationship, yet God miraculously rescued her. If you have a “hard to bless” child or grandchild, this will be a hugely helpful story of grace and love you need to hear.

Refreshments and coffee will be available. We hope you’ll join us!

The monthly Alberta Baptist Association’s Hymn Sing is happening Sunday, March 23rd, and this time we are hosting! Join us at 6pm at the Connors Hill site together with churchgoers from around the city to sing hymns (and enjoy the recently refurbished organ), with fellowship and refreshments to follow. Please bring something to share (sandwiches, desserts, etc.) We look forward to worshiping with you!

Our next G@P gathering will be on Tuesday, March 4th at 6:30pm (note updated time) at our Southeast site.

You won’t want to miss this special evening with some of Central’s youth together with Southeast’s Youth and Worship leader, Mike Pronk. They will be leading us in music and then we’ll hear from them in regards to issues (both hard and heart warming) at school, sports, social media, and with friends. This will encourage us to pray more effectively for our own grandkids and their parents and our youth.

We’ll provide the pizza, assorted beverages and Timbits for $10/per person but we need you to RSVP HERE so we know how much to order. We hope to see you there! 

The Pre-Marriage course is a series of 5 sessions designed to help couples build strong foundations for their future by equipping them with the attitudes and practical skills they will need to help keep their relationship strong. Each session consists of a video on a specific topic and time for private conversations as a couple. The Pre-Marriage course is for couples who are exploring marriage or those who are already engaged.

The course is scheduled to start on Monday, March 3rd from 6:30-9:00pm at Connors Hill. Additional sessions will be on March 10th (7-9:30pm), March 17th (7-9:30pm), March 24th (7-9:30pm) and March 31st (6:30-9pm). A meal will be served on the first and last sessions. Please note we will meet half an hour earlier on those evenings.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN—it is limited to 20 couples and costs $80. If you would like to attend but finances are an issue, please let us know. The deadline to register is Friday, February 28th.

On Friday, February 28th, we’re at Connor's Hill for a Coffeehouse AND After Youth at Line's place! Coffeehouse will meet in the Youth Room at 7pm.

Immediately following Coffeehouse, we have After Youth! After Youth is for all Youth students and we walk just down the road to Line Fortier's house and spend time just hanging out! She has food and games ready to go for us so we are sooo thankful we get to do that! Pick up is at her house at 10:30pm!

Alpha is a series of fun group conversation evenings with great snacks centred around exploring the big questions of life, spirituality, and faith in a laid-back and non-judgmental environment.

It’s for those who want to explore or are rethinking their faith. If you are curious, skeptical, or just have honest questions, bring them to Alpha and explore them with new friends!

Alpha will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm starting February 26 and ending May 7. It will meet at the Connors Hill (9419 95 ST NW) site and is open to everyone.

We are having an interest meeting for our Youth 2025 Mexico Missions trip on Monday, February 24th, at 7PM at Connors Hill. This will be a great night of information about the trip as well as the heart behind why we are going! Even if you are slightly interested in coming please come on out and hear more about what is going on.

RIGHT NOW we are looking for students who are interested in coming to Mexico. We want to get an idea of how many people are coming so that we can plan flights and other accommodations. So if you are even slightly interested, please check out the form and fill it out so that we can get an idea of the general interest. (Note that this is a different trip from the All Ages Mexico Trip proposed for spring 2026.)
