On Friday, May 30, Central Youth will gather from 7-9pm at Hermitage Park to play disc golf, and maybe have a campfire for those who don’t want to throw frisbees. We will have discs for everyone and we'll have a fun time regardless of how good or bad we are!

HERE is where we will meet! Come out dressed for the weather and bring a friend as well! If you have discs of your own then bring those too!

Hey Young Adults! On Tuesday, May 27th, we’re switching things up and taking YA off-site for a chill night of pizza, board games, and good hangs - all happening at Nolan’s house!

Here’s the plan:

• You bring your favourite board games (or just come ready to play).

• It all kicks off at 7pm!

Join Central Youth for a Worship & Teaching night on Friday, May 16th, from 7-9pm at our Southeast site. Questions? Talk to Levi, Mike, or Jess.

Pain and Suffering are part of the human condition. Everyone has or will experience pain and/or suffering in their lives. How do we respond to it? Where is God in it? How can we get through it in an honest faith filled journey?

To help us answer these questions, we invite you to join us for a seminar on Walking with God Through Pain and Suffering. Pastor Tom will share some of his own challenges along with a review of Tim Keller’s book by the same title. We will also hear a testimony of someone who has gone through and reflected on pain and suffering in her family’s life. Finally, we will have time to share with others at the seminar and pray for one another.

Refreshments and handouts will be provided.

This is a 55+ seminar but adults of any age are welcome to attend. Please RSVP HERE so we can plan accordingly.

Hey Central Young Adults! You’re officially invited to Everybody’s Birthday Night — our one-night celebration where we’re throwing a birthday party for everyone at once! It’s happening on Tuesday, May 13 from 7-9pm at Connors Hill. We’ll have cake (of course), a White Elephant Gift Exchange (see below for details) and some fun surprises along the way! The Central Potluck & Activity Group is for unmarried adults age 30-43 (if you’re 29 or 44, you’re still invited) across all three sites. We meet monthly and fluctuate between activities and potlucks at various locations.

This class is for all three sites and is designed for those who would like to learn more about Central or for those who would like to formally join the church. If you'd like to join the church, please come prepared to share a 3-4 minute version of your faith story (in small groups).

Join us for our YA Park Takeover Night at Gallagher Park! We’ll be playing games like soccer, tossing a frisbee, lounging in the grass, and enjoying a picnic together.

On Friday, April 25, join us in the Connor's Hill gym for a night of constructing (and destructing) cardboard castles with catapults. Your team must kill the opposing team's king and then pick off the rest of the peasants! Protect your king, or else!

After Storm the Castle, we will walk over to Line Fortier’s house for After Youth! Pick up is at Line’s house at 10:30pm.

Join us on Easter Sunday, April 20th, as we celebrate that Jesus’ death was not the end of the story. He is alive! These services are a great opportunity to invite a friend to consider the good news of Jesus and life found in Him. Easter Sunday services will be held at Connors Hill, Southeast and Sherwood Park at 9am & 11am. The service will be live streamed Online at 9am followed by on demand.

On Easter Sunday, we have an exciting opportunity to partner with Camp Falcon Rock (CFR) in Romania through a special offering. CFR is doing incredible work, providing a place where young people and families can experience the love of Christ through dynamic camps, leadership development, and discipleship. The camp’s impact continues to grow, serving as a beacon of hope and transformation in the region. Worship with us on Good Friday, April 18th either in person or online as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Good Friday Services will be held at Connors Hill, Southeast, Sherwood Park, and online at 10am. The service will be available online on demand starting at 12pm.

You are invited to an Easter Potluck Lunch for our 55+ and Seniors Crowd on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 12-1:30pm. We will gather in the Connors Hill gym. We will enjoy lunch together, sing some Easter hymns led by Greg Miazga and hear a short devotional about Easter from Pastor Tom.

• A friend, neighbour or relative who may need some encouragement and/or community.
