Last week (Feb 24) we decided to postpone the 2nd week of Asking for a Friend, so this coming Tuesday (March 3), we will tackle the very casual topic “Is God hiding my spouse from me…or do I just suck at dating?”

If you’re single, dating, situationshipping, recovering from a breakup, or just tired of pretending you have it all figured out — this night is for you.

Hey Grade 5 & 6’s! Grab a table top game and come join us for an afternoon of fun games at our Southeast Site (4357 Savaryn Dr SW) from 2-4pm on March 1.

Parents, please register your Grade 5,6 child and their Grade 5,6 friends for this event by filling out the form HERE for each child! Please sign the permission form in the questions section.

Join us on Sunday, March 1st at either 10:30am or 12:30pm (immediately following both morning services) in the Fireside Room to learn more about what it means to be baptized, and to start the process of baptism at Central. Open to all ages, however those under 16 must register and attend with a parent or guardian.

Asking for a Friend is a two-week Young Adults series happening Tuesday, February 17th and 24th, built around the real questions young adults are actually asking about dating, sex, relationships, marriage, and everything in between. No dodging, no churchy non-answers—just honest, thoughtful conversation.

On February 24th, we’ll wrap the series with a Relationships Panel, responding to questions submitted by YOU. You can submit your questions anytime through our anonymous Google Form HERE.

If you’ve been considering baptism as a next step in your journey with Jesus, we’d love to walk with you. Sometimes we have questions, or simply find it helpful to have a space to listen and learn—which is why we’re hosting an Exploring Baptism event on Sunday, February 22nd at 2pm at the Sherwood Park site. This is an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and explore what baptism could look like for you alongside others in our community that may be feeling the same.

For those under the age of 16 that are interested in attending, we ask that you sign up to attend with a parent or guardian.

This Friday, February 20, Central Youth will join with youth groups across Edmonton at Life Church for 780 Rally, a city-wide youth night focused on worship and prayer! These nights are a great way to connect with students and leaders from across Edmonton, worship the Lord, and see what He is doing throughout our city.

Doors open at 6:30, and the event runs from 7-9:30/10PM. When your student(s) arrives, they can keep an eye out for Mike, Jess, and Reg. We will gather all together and do our check-in before finding a place to sit. Students need to make sure they check out with a leader before leaving!

We’re holding a special congregational vote in February to finalize a minor, historical property line adjustment at our Sherwood Park site. This is a required administrative step before future renovations and rezoning work can proceed. Join us ONLINE via Zoom on Thursday, February 19th at 7pm for a short congregational meeting to hear more about this property line adjustment. Please RSVP HERE to get access to the Zoom meeting.
