You're invited to an evening of worship, reflection, and community as we gather together to remember God's faithfulness this past year. As the year comes to a close, we'll take time to celebrate how He has met us—through joy, through challenges, and in every quiet moment in between. Come ready to lift your voice in praise, share in His presence, and be encouraged by the stories of His goodness. We hope to see you there!

Women of Connors Hill, you’re invited to a Spring Campfire on Saturday, May 24 from 7-9pm.

Let’s gather one last time before fall! Join us for a cozy evening around the fire with s’mores, hot chocolate, drinks, fruit, camp songs, stories, a devotional, and prayer—a perfect way to welcome summer and connect with one another. We’ll hang out on the lawn north of the church. Please bring a camping chair and warm outdoor clothing.

Games Night! Back by popular demand, our May Connect Event will be another Games Night at the church! Bring a favourite game and a shareable snack if you like, or just come and join for a time of connecting over board games!

New for this games night, we are including the option to get outside and play some pickleball! If you'd like to join the pickleball fun, wear some running shoes and bring a paddle if you have one (we will have extras available for those who don't). No skill or experience required. We will give a short lesson at the start then just have some fun hitting the ball around in a fun and relaxed environment (weather permitting).

Board gamers and pickleball players all meet at the church at 7pm. Those participating in pickleball will carpool to the outdoor courts nearby and be back to the church at 9pm.

Our largest Central Women gathering of the year, for all women at all sites, is happening Saturday, April 5th from 11am-1pm. The focus of the event is "Refresh & Renew" and we're planning for a time of worship, devotion, fellowship, and a spring-picnic-inspired meal. Registration is now open! Sign up HERE. Childcare will be available; if you plan to bring your children, please enter them on the form. Also feel free to invite other women you think would enjoy this event!

We'd love to have a large, beautiful, and uplifting event where as many women as possible can gather and participate. To this end, we will need many volunteers in several areas (such as food, decorations, worship, childcare, etc.). Ladies of Connors Hill, you are invited to an uplifting afternoon of testimony and fellowship on Saturday, February 22nd at 2pm. 

Veronica McRae is a long time attendee of Central Baptist, a wife, a mother of 4 girls, and a citizen of the Metis Nation of Alberta. She has been through many trials, but has also seen triumphs and transformations and will be sharing testimonies of the transformational work of Christ and how God has been faithful in her life.

Come join us in the mutual edification of sharing and listening as we look at God’s faithfulness in the past and present through Veronica’s testimony, and find hope and encouragement for the future.

This Bible study is open to all women (any age/stage) and will be led by Jill Putz and Debbie Banek. The cost of the workbook is $36.49, but please let us know if cost would keep you from participating.

We’re planning a short-term mission trip to Mexico for spring 2026 and want to invite you to an interest night on Wednesday, January 22, from 6:30-7:30 PM (we will meet in the Fireside Room at Connors Hill.) This trip is open to families and those of all ages and is a fantastic opportunity to stretch your faith and connect with others while experiencing a new part of the world. The mission will be connected with our long-standing partnership with a church and other partners in Mexico. The Marriage Course is for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. The course offers a lifetime of practical ideas and tools to help keep your relationship strong. The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background.

Each session of The Marriage Course consists of a meal, a practical talk on topics related to marriage and a time for private discussion between you and your partner. Each couple’s privacy is respected as there is no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else.

The course starts on Thursday, January 9th and runs for 7 weeks until Thursday, February 27th (no gathering on January 16th because of Prayer week.) We will meet together in the gym at Connors Hill from 6:30-9:30pm. Registration is limited to 12 couples and costs $250 per couple. This cost includes a three-course meal on each of the gatherings and the teaching workbooks. If you would like to attend but finances are an issue, please let us know.

Join us on Wednesday, January 8, from 6:30-7:30 PM (in the Fireside room at Connors Hill) to learn about our mission trip to Romania. We've partnered with believers in Romania for over 30 years, and this trip will support the continued development of Camp Falcon Rock (more at rootsinromania.com). We're looking for 12-15 people—trades experience is a plus, but not required. Our goal is to assist with the camp’s building project, bless the local team and churches, and experience God’s Kingdom through service.
